Create adorable frameable art from ordinary objects Transform bits of glass and other materials into treasure at this hands-on workshop. Local artisan Karen Worst will guide you through the process of selecting the bits and pieces you’ll use to make a charming picture of a flower-filled pot with hand-drawn stems and leaves, putting the pieces together and, finally, matting and framing your creation. Before retiring, Karen Worst worked as a nurse by day and created art in her downtime. Today, she makes one-of-a-kind, nature-inspired art with glass, recycled glass and sea glass, acrylic paint and other simple materials. Reserve your space today! $30 per person includes instruction and all material for framed 6-x-6-inch finished art. Date: Saturday, June 6 Time: 10 a.m. To save your space: Limited spots available.
