The Martinez native picked up a guitar at twelve, studied at the Los Angeles College of Music, and has played the Whisky a Go Go in Hollywood three times, including an opening slot for Buckcherry at the club’s 50th anniversary show. His playing runs from blues rock through sixties psychedelia into southern slide, with Eric Clapton, Rory Gallagher, Jeff Beck and Jerry Garcia all in the phrasing. Two nights before Christmas he brings a trio, Mars Horner on bass and Arthur Siegel on drums, into our 100 seat room. Grab a table early.
