From 2016 to 2021, he was a member of the Original Chicago Blues All-Stars, and he is a regular performer at Buddy Guy's Legends. In 2020, he completed an 18-date tour of Australia sponsored by Choose Chicago, and in 2021 he performed the national anthem at Fiserv Forum for a Milwaukee Bucks game. He has also appeared as a sideman on Isaiah Collier's 2023 album Parallel Universe. Damani released the singles "Slow Down" and "It's Just the Rain" in 2025 with Patchwork Inc., distributed by EMPIRE.
