He was born in Ghana, he works the Sofar Sounds rooms across the East Bay and Sacramento, and he shared a bill with Ms. Monet earlier this year. He sings in four languages: English, Fante, French and Spanish. The record is retro soul and R&B leaning into Afrobeat and back out again.
