In the Gallery: Color Fields

Opening reception on July 31st in the gallery from 5 – 7 PM. The Kindred Spirits will be playing live music as part of the reception. COLOR FIELDS The exhibition includes 21 encaustic monotypes incorporating inks handmade from plants harvested across Colorado. This exhibition explores the experience of reconnecting with the land, drawing attention to the subtle details of native plants and the quiet presence they hold in the landscape. MELODY EPPERSON Melody Epperson is a passionate storyteller and land artist dedicated to exploring the complex relationships between people and the natural world. Drawing on personal history and collective memory, Melody Epperson creates immersive art that reflects both the beauty and fragility of our connection to the land. A Colorado native, Melody Epperson is a full-time artist specializing in encaustic and cold wax painting. She studied art at Metropolitan State College, Goddard College and Columbia College Chicago. She currently exhibits her artwork at NKollectiv in Englewood, Colorado. The show will be on display from July 31 – August 26.
