What do Alan Cumming, Fran Drescher, Harvey Fierstein, Chloe Fineman, Judd Hirsch and Robert Klein have in common? Besides being actors, they are all members of the Artistic Advisory Board of the Borscht Belt Museum. The museum, which opened in 2023 in Ellenville, N.Y., elebrates the golden age of the Catskills. The curator and President of the museum, Andrew Jacobs, will be coming to BMCC give a talk about the Borscht Belt Museum. And as the Borscht Belt era was known for music, comedy, food and respite from everyday life, this event will include those elements to help you get away from it all, albeit temporarily. All BMCC students, faculty and staff are invited to join us to enjoy delicious food, live comedy, dancing, and more.
