Project Impact is graduating one of our largest cohorts yet — and these are students many of you taught, advised, and championed inside BMCC’s classrooms and offices. On Thursday, May 28, we’re hosting a graduation celebration to honor our Fall 2025, Spring 2026, and Summer 2026 graduates. We’d love for you to be there. These students often tell us about the faculty member who stayed after class, who answered an email at 10pm, who said “you belong here” when they weren’t sure they did. Many of you are those people. They’d love the chance to thank you face-to-face — and we’d love the chance to recognize the role you’ve played alongside them. The evening includes an awards ceremony, student reflections, and time to celebrate together. Light refreshments will be served. Please RSVP by Thursday, May 21. If you can’t make it but have a current or former Project Impact student you’d like us to recognize publicly that night, just reply and let me know who and why — we will make sure it gets read.
