Remember, Heal, Prevail: Archival Exhibit Reflecting on 25 Years After 9/11

Visit this special exhibition presented in the Elizabeth Margaritis Butson Women’s Center Art Gallery (Exhibition Space Outside Room S-342). Featuring photographs, archival materials, remembrance ribbons, and messages of support selected in partnership with the BMCC Library Archives, the exhibition highlights moments of remembrance, recovery, and resilience within the BMCC community following September 11, 2001. Highlights include sympathy cards and correspondence received by BMCC from schoolchildren, community organizations, elected officials, and dignitaries from around the world, reflecting the extraordinary outpouring of support received by the college in the aftermath of the attacks. The exhibit also features materials from the “Ribbons of Remembrance, Hope, and Healing” initiative, a powerful symbol of collective healing and solidarity.
