Workshops

During two consecutive classes for Professor Mateo Sacho Cardiel, participants will be introduced to basic notions of masculinities and femininities.  Day 1: participants will reflect on how gender norms are produced, reinforced, and challenged through popular culture—using superheroes as a central metaphor Day 2: Students will apply these concepts by designing new heroic figures, rethinking gender through care, accountability, and collective futures. Workshop facilitator is Heriberto Ramirez. This event is Co-Curricular Transcript (CCT) credit approved. See all list of all Women’s Herstory events at BMCC.
