Pete Martinez: Good AI is Making Medicine Smarter

Festival of the Arts Boca is proud to present “Pete Martinez: Good AI is Making Medicine Smarter” on March 8, 2027! Few things are as primed to benefit from the computing power of AI as health care – a $5-trillion sector that encompasses 18% of our economy. This is particularly true in the search for cures and treatments to rare genetic diseases (of which there are over 7,000). Pete Martinez has spent over five decades leading innovative technology firms and sits at the intersection of AI and Healthcare. His work with Artificial Intelligence is providing revolutionary discoveries in the areas of Genomics and Brain Health. We asked him to give us a readout from the frontlines of AI and healthcare, and he will be joined by Robert Cancio, a young engineer working on the frontier. The discussion as Martinez says, will be "where fresh blood meets grey hair." From this evening's discussion you will come away with a better understanding of: how you are the CEO of your health care and how to personalize your health care how you can drive your physicians to use AI to help you better what you can do as an individual to make you and your family healthier Learn more and reserve your tickets here!
