Vivaldi & Piazzolla: The Four Seasons

Festival of the Arts Boca is proud to present “Vivaldi & Piazzolla: The Four Seasons” on March 6, 2027! Two extraordinary sisters bring eight seasons to life, leading us on a vivid journey from the elegance of eighteenth-century Venice to the passion of twentieth-century Buenos Aires. Violinist Hina Khuong-Huu returns to Festival Boca following her stunning 2023 performance of the Sibelius Violin Concerto, this time joined by her sister Fiona. Their remarkable musical partnership is showcased on their recent PENTATONE debut album, Dear to Us, which celebrates both their individual voices and the instinctive connection they share. Together with Festival Orchestra Boca, Hina and Fiona illuminate Vivaldi’s beloved Four Seasons, with its singing birds, summer storms, rustic dances, and icy winter winds. The journey then travels across centuries and continents to Astor Piazzolla’s Four Seasons of Buenos Aires, where the irresistible rhythms and smoky sensuality of Argentine tango transform the changing seasons. Brimming with virtuosity, color, and passion, The Eight Seasons also provides the perfect prelude to the following evening’s Tango Night in Boca. Learn more and reserve your tickets here!
