Learn To Grow with Greenie

Learn To Grow With Greenie™ is a hands-on children’s workshop designed to help young learners discover the joy of growing food through storytelling, movement, music, and simple garden-based activities. Created by Ferpher Farms and inspired by Greenie Sprout™ and the Greenieverse™, this workshop introduces children to microgreens in a fun, age-appropriate way. Children will learn what tiny greens are, how seeds wake up and grow, why fresh food helps our bodies, and how small healthy choices can become big wins. The class includes a simple growing demonstration, interactive microgreens seed planting, movement-based learning, and a take-home microgreens growing kit so each child can continue growing at home. The kit includes grow trays, soil seeds, spray bottle, seed spreader, brochure and Learn To Grow With Greenie Activity/Coloring book and a free digital download of Tiny Greens Power Starter Pack™ for a family-friendly preview and a fun first step into the Greenieverse. This workshop is designed especially for children ages 4 to 8 with adult participation. It is positive, playful, beginner-friendly, and free from food shaming or pressure. The goal is to help children become curious about real food, excited about gardening, and proud of growing something themselves. ** Please note that the registration fee is charged per child and includes all materials. Each registered child will receive their own take-home growing kit and must be accompanied by an adult.
