About this event
One of 13 upcoming events at Boreal Theater.
Saturday, September 5, 2026 | 7:00–9:00 PM | $15 More than a concert, Eli Lev’s performance is a curated experience of “Indie Folk Poptimism.” Blending original music, real-life storytelling, and a multi-instrumental approach, Eli invites audiences into an intimate, uplifting journey centered on themes of service, nature, and community. This is not just a performance—it is a shared space where songs and stories bring people together, one moment at a time. The evening unfolds in two sets: the first featuring songs and stories from the Four Directions Project, and the second drawing from the Three Worlds Project. Each set reveals a different chapter of Eli’s evolving musical storytelling universe, grounded in reflection, transformation, and human connection. Eli Lev is a Maryland-based singer-songwriter and global touring artist known for heartfelt, lyric-driven indie folk that blends Americana warmth with modern pop sensibility. His work is rooted in his years teaching 8th-grade English on the Navajo Nation in Northern Arizona, where he developed his acclaimed Four Directions Project, a four-album cycle inspired by Indigenous teachings and the symbolic meaning of the cardinal directions. These releases—All Roads East (2017), Way Out West (2018), Deep South (2019), and True North (2021)—form a cohesive exploration of place, identity, and belonging. His ongoing Three Worlds Project expands this vision into a trilogy exploring past, present, and future. His recent album Past Lives deepens this narrative with themes of ancestral memory, transformation, and connection. A seasoned performer, Eli has toured extensively across the U.S. and internationally, including appearances at the Kennedy Center and Washington, DC’s 9:30 Club, and has built a devoted global audience known as the “Levitators.” Expect an intimate, story-driven performance rooted in folk, Americana, and indie-pop sensibility—uplifting, earthy, and emotionally resonant—where concert meets storytelling circle meets communal experience.
