Starting Saturday, May 9 | 10 AM–12 PM Join us at the Boreal Theater for a 10-week improv program designed to build confidence, creativity, and collaboration through fun theater games and improvisational exercises. Whether you’re brand new to improv or looking to sharpen your performance skills, this class offers a welcoming environment to explore spontaneity, storytelling, and creative collaboration. The class is perfect for anyone interested in comedy, acting, public speaking, or simply stepping outside their comfort zone. High school students are encouraged to attend. The program will conclude with a final showcase performance for friends and family on Sunday, July 12th, 3-5 pm, where participants will take the stage and share what they’ve learned. This program is developed by the improvisational comedy of The Human Condition, our Millinocket-based improv comedy group led by Mindy Washington. Known for their energetic and audience-engaging performances, the group demonstrates how improv can bring laughter, connection, and creativity to the community. Audience participation is encouraged, and light refreshments will be offered during the final showcase. Classes are FREE, and all are welcome to join!
