The Geraldine Marshall Scholarship Fund enters its fourth year of awarding North End children under the age of 18 with a full-year scholarship for music lessons or to participate in one of NEMPAC’s artistic programs. The Geraldine Marshall Scholarship was established by her son, State Representative Aaron Michlewitz. Ms. Marshall, who passed away at the age of 68, was born in Dorchester in 1946, moved to the North End at the age of 21 and settled here for almost 50 years before her passing.
