Pao Arts Center presents two renowned films by Ray Yeung –Twilight’s Kiss (Suk Suk) and All Shall Be Well. These films tell two stories of older queer couples, navigating family life and their identities. RSVP Twilights Kiss (Suk Suk) 3:00 PM / Run Time 1 hour and 30 minutes Twilight’s Kiss (Suk Suk) follows the story of two closeted married men in their twilight years as they navigate their families and personal histories while contemplating a possible future together. Twilight’s Kiss studies the subtle day-to-day moments of the two men as they struggle between conventional morals and their personal desires. All Shall Be Well 6:00 PM / Run Time 1 hour and 32 minutes Angie and Pat are a couple living in Hong Kong who have been together for over four decades. After Pat's unexpected death, Angie finds herself at the mercy of her extended family as she struggles to retain both her dignity and the home that they shared for over thirty years. About the Director Ray Yeung is an acclaimed director, writer, art director, and playwright. His first feature film, Cut Sleeve Boys, premiered at the Rotterdam International Film Festival in 2005. Ray is a Columbia University MFA graduate. He is the Chairman of the Hong Kong Lesbian and Gay Film Festival since 2000, currently the longest running lesbian and gay film festival in Asia. Photo credit: Muslim House About the Curator Nate Shu (he/him) is first and foremost a lover of arts and culture. He is the co-programming manager for the Boston Asian-American Film Festival. He is also the Community Engagement Manager for ArtsBoston, helping to run NAACBoston (Network of Arts Administrators of Color Boston) and their calendar accessibility initiatives. He is also a juror on the Elliot Norton Midsize committee and freelance stand-up comedy performer and producer across the Greater Boston area. He is currently in production on his first documentary short project.
