About this event

Community

@ The Griffin Museum is partnering with the Network for Social Justice for an afternoon of dancing and community on Sunday June 14th. We are thrilled to have Maxine Harrison, DJ, drag queen, and hostess extraordinaire, spinning the records we all want to dance to. Beverages are provided by Arlington Brew Company. This afternoon dance extravaganza is a benefit to support the good work of the Network for Social Justice and the programs of the Griffin Museum. Funds generated from this event will support NSJ’s LET (Leaders for Everyone’s Tomorrow) initiative, and the Griffin Futures Fund to support the museums exhibitions, programs and scholarship funds. The Network for Social Justice supports Winchester’s youth through their LET program. Funded by Winchester Hospital Community Benefits and co-organized with Social Capital, Inc, the Leaders for Everyone’s Tomorrow (LET) initiative seeks to advance mental health awareness and engagement of suburban youth within, and beyond, Winchester and Woburn. The Griffin Museum of Photography brings artists and community together through dynamic exhibitions, educational programs, and lectures that explore the visual, emotional, and social impact of photography. Building on the legacy of our founder, Arthur Griffin, we cultivate opportunities to engage with and better understand our diverse world through the photographic arts. Thank you to Winchester Cultural District and Arlington Brewing Company for your support! Would you like to sponsor of the event? Contact Crista Dix at the Griffin Museum for more details.
