A SAG Award nominated film starring Helen Mirren. 2:00 – 4:00 pm – James Blackstone Library – 758 Main Street, Branford Synopsis: Maria Altmann (played by Helen Mirren), an elderly Jewish refugee, teams up with a young lawyer to reclaim Gustav Klimt’s portrait of her aunt—stolen by the Nazis and held by Austria for decades. Their fight becomes a landmark battle over justice, memory, and the restitution of stolen art.
