Salon: Pablo Casals 150th I

To celebrate the 150th birthday of Pablo Casals, the BMC will host a series of events featuring the great Spanish maestro. He was a cellist, composer, conductor, teacher, and a global ambassador for humanity. Join us as we explore his extraordinary musical and humanitarian legacies. He spent 13 summers in Vermont at the Marlboro Music Festival, where his presence had a lasting impact, not only on scores of musicians, but on the Festival itself. The first event, a salon, will feature videos and recordings, and takes place on September 10 at 6:30 pm. Moby Pearson presents. Admission is by donation. Refreshments are provided.
