Sundate is a New York City–based jazz septet founded by Victor Solano and featuring Alfredo Colon, Jonathan Paik, Carter Yasutake, Justin Henery, and Steve Williams. Rooted in the shared experience of growing up in NYC, Sundate’s music reflects the city’s energy, diversity, and constant evolution. Drawing from the jazz tradition while pushing beyond its boundaries, the ensemble creates music that challenges each member individually and collectively.
