Gold Coast Jazz: Emmet Cohen Trio – Young Lions of Jazz

"Few artists hold the energy, emotional appeal and downright charm that Emmet Cohen contains," says Jazz Times. An acclaimed pianist, composer, and one of the most visible young leaders in jazz today, Emmet Cohen has built a global following through his electrifying performances and his wildly popular livestream series, Live from Emmet’s Place. At the heart of his artistry is the Emmet Cohen Trio, one of the hottest young ensembles on the scene. Cohen has collaborated with an extraordinary range of artists — including Christian McBride, Joshua Redman, and Samara Joy.
