Gold Coast Jazz: Ulysses Owens, Jr. & Generation Y

Three-time Grammy® Award–winning drummer Ulysses Owens, Jr. has earned a reputation as a powerhouse musician who, as The New York Times notes, “takes a back seat to no one” and “balances excitement gracefully while shining with innovation.” A dynamic performer, producer, and educator, Owens moves fluidly across the jazz landscape and beyond, continually expanding his artistic reach. For this performance, Owens brings his electrifying “Generation Y” Band, featuring some of today’s most compelling young jazz voices - a group known for its fire, finesse, and forward-looking sound.
