Symphony of the Americas: A Night at the Opera

When you combine great voices with a great orchestra, beautiful music, and a touch of drama, you get the magic of opera! Whether you’re a longtime fan or a first-time attendee, this concert captures what Maestro Luke loves most about opera, presented in a way that’s not only beautiful but also a lot of fun. With two guest soloists from the Metropolitan Opera and members of a fantastic local chorus, we bring to life some of the most beautiful opera arias ever written while also highlighting great works composed for orchestra. You’ll hear pieces you recognize from movies, television, and commercials throughout history—familiar favorites that will have you humming long after the music ends!
