December 5, 2026 – 10am-4pm | December 6, 2026 – 12-4pm Celebrate the holiday season at Burritt on the Mountain’s newest family-friendly event, where the sights, sounds, and aromas of the winter season come alive. The festivities begin Saturday with the enchanting Winter Whimsy Tea, featuring a performance by Rocket City Ballet, a special gift for each child, and an exclusive visit with Father Christmas. The magic continues Sunday during Cookies and Cocoa, a cozy gathering hosted by Father Christmas himself. All weekend long, the Historic Park and Mansion will be filled with lively music and hands-on traditions. Guests of all ages can create custom boxwood wreaths, string popcorn and cranberries, and sample authentic figgy pudding. Stop by the Hot Toddy Hub to enjoy delightful seasonal libations and festive treats available for purchase. It’s a holiday celebration designed to be charming, heartwarming, and wonderfully memorable for the whole family. All historic activities are included with admission, while supplies last. Special Ticketed Events: Winter Whimsy Tea and Cookies and Cocoa with Father Christmas. These two events are the only opportunities for professional photos with Father Christmas, though he may also be spotted roaming the grounds throughout the day.
