Learn about the natural history of common loons with a Cable Natural History Museum Naturalist while we tour Wisconsin’s third-largest lake on a pontoon boat and observe artificial nesting platforms built for loons. Meet at Treeland Resort at 9:30 a.m. and return by noon. Cost: $38 member/$48 non-member. Federal law requires children under the age of 13 to wear a USCG-approved life jacket while underway in an open vessel on federally controlled waters. If you are registering a child under the age of 13, please call the Museum to make sure that a suitable life jacket will be available.
