As the youngest sister of the famed soprano Sarah Brightman she was put in to contact with her producer, Frank Peterson, and began working for his Nemo studios as a writer at eighteen years old. At twenty, her first co-write was released with a chart placement for the Spanish artist Princessa. From there she went on to collaborating on the first written track for Gregorian titled Moment of Peace. This track went on to receive platinum awards around the world and Amelia began touring with them as the only female.
