May 14 through October 4 California Art Club Gallery at The Old Mill 1120 Old Mill Rd., San Marino, California 91108 Hours: Tuesday through Sunday; 11:00 am to 2:00 pm A Rite of Passage: The American Road Trip commemorates both the 175th anniversary of California statehood and the 250th anniversary of the United States by showcasing works that evoke the textures, colors, and moods encountered along a cross-country drive. This journey will invite viewers to reflect on how the open road celebrates the country’s diversity, its shared histories, and the fleeting, nostalgic moments found between destinations. This display will be a part of the CAC’s “Celebrating California’s 175th” exhibition series to mark the milestone anniversary for the 31st state in the union. Exhibiting artists will be announced at the end of March 2026, when jurying is complete.
