The Greater Sacramento/Sierra Chapter invites you to a paint/sculpt-out at William B Pond Recreation Area on Saturday, April 25. About William B Pond Recreation Area Join artists on a spring day by a scenic lake located within the American River Parkway. The pond offers picnicking and wildlife viewing in a peaceful, tree-lined setting. Paved trails gently slope toward the American River. Comfortable picnic tables with gazabo and restrooms available. Painting scenes include tree lined pond and river, beach and shoreline, sky, boulders, and trees. Wildlife abounds with lots of various birds. Bring a picnic lunch and we will gather at noon to visit, eat, and share our work (optional). Event Details: Date & Time:    Saturday, April 25 – 9:00 am – 1:00 pm Location:            William B Pond Recreational Area, 5700 Arden Way Carmichael, CA 95608 Meeting Place: From Highway 50 exit Watt Avenue northbound off-ramp. Turn right at Fair Oaks Blvd. Turn right at Arden Way. Arden Way will come to an end at the park’s entrance. After passing through the entrance and paying the fee, drive past the large parking lots to the left and driveways, continue to the end of the road where there is a Gazebo.
