Lake Tahoe Artist Retreat — August 23 – 27, 2026

Join the California Art Club and the Greater Sacramento/ Sierra Chapter at Zephyr Point Presbyterian Conference Center at Lake Tahoe on August 23 through 27, 2026. Be inspired by this lakeside setting nestled along the timeless beauty of Lake Tahoe’s shoreline and mountains. Enjoy hotel-style lodging and an on-site meal service so you can focus on painting among fellow artists. The location is 10 minutes from South Lake Tahoe. Artists may paint at off -site locations in nearby state and local parks, beaches and quaint towns. We will be providing more information on some of those options. Note: Sunrise is about 6:20 am, Sunset is about 7:45 pm Sunday August 23 • Check in at 4-5:30 pm at Tallac Center. Our rooms are at the Tallac Center. You willhave time to go to your room and get settled before dinner. Dinner at 6 pm in the Hedco Dining Room at Tallac Center.  Meet for welcome, introductions and group photo at 8 pm Monday August 24 • Breakfast at 8 am, Lunch at noon, Dinner at 6 pm.  Evening art presentation or demo at 8 pm Tuesday August 25 • Breakfast at 8 am, Lunch at noon, Dinner at 6 pm.  Sunset hike at Castle Rock(Sign up at Monday Breakfast if you want to do this.The hike is a moderate hike, hiking boots recommended.) The on-site location has a beach, dock, rocks, trees, a variety of cabins, distant mountains, and the lovely clear water of Lake Tahoe.
