Several key components of modern everyday Americana either debuted or were catapulted into fame by Chicago’s 1893 Columbian exposition. From architecture to snack foods to the democratic sense of what being part of America meant, the Fair inspires props that are further interpreted with Cantigny’s renowned seasonal summer displays. Discover more about the fabrication of our signature fabric art piece, Gallantly Streaming, in the patriotic-colored Upper Garden.
