@ Cape Cod Beer and Mass Audubon Long Pasture are excited to announce that Wildlife on Tap is back at the brewery for 2026! After numerous requests, we are thrilled to get this program back up and running! These events used to sell out every month – get your tickets now! This lecture will be held once a month on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:30pm. The Wildlife on Tap lecture series at Cape Cod Beer is a special event each year where attendees can learn about wildlife over some fine beverages. Each presenter in the series is an expert in the field. Come have a beer and learn something new about some of Cape Cod’s majestic creatures from the charismatic individuals who have made it their life’s mission to protect! Registration is required. There is a $15 registration fee. Here’s the schedule: March 18th: Striped Bass Research and Management in Massachusetts! Learn about the fascinating life history of striped bass with Ben Gahagan, Recreation Fisheries Program Leader at MA DMF, explore the science behind understanding their current status, and discover practical ways you can help support conservation of the species and fishery. REGISTER MARCH 18 April 15th: The Global Importance of Seagrass Conservation Seagrasses protect coastlines, support marine life, and capture carbon, but are rapidly declining due to development and climate change. SeagrassNet, led by Dr. Agnes Mittermayr, works globally to monitor and protect these vital ecosystems. REGISTER FOR APRIL 15TH May 13th: Atlantic White Shark Conservancy- Awareness Inspires Conservation Learn about the ongoing white shark research projects being conducted and funded by the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy, how that research is impacting conservation and public safety efforts, and up to date information on what that research has taught us. REGISTER FOR MAY 13TH June 10th: Built for a Toad: How Restoring Wetlands Brings Wildlife Back Cape Cod’s vernal pools are being restored through innovative wetland work and endangered species recovery, giving the Eastern Spadefoot toad a second chance. By involving students, volunteers, and scientists, the project turns conservation into a hands-on effort that reconnects people with the landscapes they depend on.
