Rinse and Repeat Learning Series Each week we focus on an important pre-school learning objective to remind caregivers of the importance of repetition for young learners (for everyone actually). Theme weeks help us to focus on a particular topic and repeat questions, observations and activities about that topic throughout the week. (Colors, Numbers, Letters, Shapes, Animals) For example, during colors week, talk to your child about all things colors – observe and name colors, play I spy something “blue” in the car or out for a walk, ask for favorite colors, have your child ask other people for their favorite colors, have them choose their clothes by color or put away toys by color. Each week, each new theme can follow these simple adaptations to your daily life and encourage pre-school, math and reading readiness.
