Southern Pine Beetle Training (Plymouth)

If you love the woods, personally or professionally, you should know how to identify and report the Southern Pine Beetle: a tiny, voractious beetle that has moved north and is now threatening stands of pitch pine – the signature tree of the Massachusetts Coastal Pine Barrens. At our May 2nd training, you’ll learn how to identify it, report it, and what is being done to manage it. DCR Forest Health Specialist Felicia Hubacz will lead indoor and outdoor portions of the training.
