MAIN HALL & Lower Level–Set up for Contra Dance

Members of the Montpelier Contra Dance committee, along with volunteers, roll up the floor-protection mats, dust-mop the dance floor, and set up all the rest of what we need to open the dance at 8:00 PM. The Lower Level is also part of the setup, as name buttons, dance flyers, etc. are put out for dancers to use. This setup time starts at 7:00 PM on evenings when Grange potluck dinners are held before the dance. Dancers use the Lower Level to change shoes, leave coats, etc. during the dance. If you’re interested in volunteering to help out, please contact MCD committee member Tim Swartz: [email protected]
