Did you know that James Hemings, Thomas Jefferson’s enslaved chef and brother-in-law, introduced “Macaroni Pie” to America after training in French culinary arts in Paris? Join us and Schoolhouse Kitchen as they instruct our Junior Chefs online in the fine art of creating this beloved cheesy, buttery, gooey treat — better known today as Mac ’n Cheese! After registration, you should receive a link to a Zoom meeting as well as a list of necessary ingredients and equipment needed to make the recipe.
