Get ready to dive into the world of Eco-printing, where plants and patterns come to life! Join local artist Katya Lebrija for an introductory workshop where we will learn about the different groups of plants and fabrics that you can use for this process. She’ll show you examples of how you can create a catalog of the plants you use, and how each makes its unique mark on the fabric. eachI’ll show you how to whip up a “bundle,” which is the secret sauce for printing magic. I’ll whisk your bundles away to steam them in my kitchen, and participants can collect by the Carriage Barn to grab their prints later that day or the next. Let the Eco-printing escapade begin! All Plants, fabrics and materials will be provided. Participants will go home with a 27”x27” printed cotton fabric.
