Young Poets Writing Camp

Young Poets Writing Camp Discover the power of words in this engaging five-day poetry workshop! Through writing exercises, discussion, and creative exploration, students will learn how poets use voice, imagery, sound, and structure to bring ideas to life. Participants will experiment with different poetic forms, develop original poems, and practice giving and receiving constructive feedback in a supportive workshop environment. The week concludes with opportunities to share work, explore publishing possibilities, and build confidence as emerging writers. Using Mood Music by Wayne Beckles as a guiding text, this camp is perfect for both beginning writers and those looking to strengthen their creative writing skills.
