Join us for an informative presentation from Center for Elder Law & Justice’s PrideLaw program and Empire Justice Center exploring self-determination and empowering Transgender, Gender Non-Conforming, and Non-Binary adults to make informed decisions about their lives, rights, and futures. Topics covered include name changes and identity documents, a brief overview of anti-discrimination laws, with focus on the right to use preferred name and pronouns in healthcare settings, as well as healthcare proxies and other advance planning documents.
