ABOUT THE ARTISTS The Stage Protects Us is a citywide initiative uniting two powerful ecosystems: frontline organizers working to protect immigrant New Yorkers, and a broad network of New York City performing artists ready to take action. We believe artists have a specific role to play in mobilizing and amplifying resistance to inhumane immigration policy by providing resources, tools, and training for the performing arts community to support the urgent work of frontline migrant justice organizers.
