Crested Butte Film Festival

Presented by the Crested Butte Film Festival For 16 years, the Crested Butte Film Festival has been a gathering place for filmmakers, film-lovers, locals, and visitors, celebrating the power of story and the art of cinema. Founded in 2010 by Michael Brody and Jen Sfalcin, the festival was created to bring independent film to the heart of the Rocky Mountains and to foster connection through shared experiences. In 2026, CBFF proudly marks its 16th anniversary, returning September 24-27 with an expanded program of films, stories, and special events. Over the course of four days, the festival will showcase 60+ films from around the world, highlight diverse voices, and celebrate the connections that make Crested Butte not only Colorado’s last great ski town, but also one of the most inspiring places to experience the magic of cinema.
