Small Wonders: A Community 6×6 Exhibition

Opening Reception: November 13 The Crested Butte Creative District invites artists, community members, families, and children of all ages to celebrate the small wonders of mountain life through a community-wide 6×6 art exhibition. Local creators will fill the gallery with original 6×6 canvases inspired by the everyday moments that bring joy, connection, and magic to our community—from snowy adventures and wildlife sightings to friendship, kindness, creativity, and quiet winter moments. Every piece will be available for purchase, with proceeds supporting the Crested Butte Creative District. Celebrate local creativity, discover a tiny work of art to take home, and support the arts in our community! ____________________________ Our second annual 6×6 Community Art Fundraiser is open to everyone! Pick up a 6×6 canvas and paint, collage, draw, stitch, photograph, or decorate it however you choose, using Small Wonders as your inspiration. Finished pieces will come together in a community exhibition and fundraiser, with proceeds supporting Creative District micro grants for creative projects in our community. You don’t have to consider yourself an artist to participate. This project is about creativity, community, and seeing how hundreds of small contributions can add up to something much bigger. Canvases will be available at the Center for the Arts, Rumors Coffee + Tea and Pfister’s Handworks starting on October 5. All finished canvases are due to the Center for the Arts by November 1.
