Description: Told from the perspective of 3rd generation Jackson Hole fly fishing guide Boots Allen, Iconic Rises conveys the reverence the local fly fishing community has for the native Snake River Fine Spotted Cutthroat Trout and the upper Snake River fishery. At a time when climate change, water temperatures, in-stream flows, invasive species, fishing pressure and water management are all having compounding negative effects on many of the West’s wild trout fisheries, these native cutthroat trout are in relatively healthy condition thanks to fortuitous geographical factors and passionate human efforts. This story celebrates the successful conservation and preservation work of many non-profit and government organizations, while also communicating the need to avoid complacency by proactively addressing some of the fisheries’ looming threats. Guardians of the Snake: Behind the Scenes: Girl’s Day Out Director / Producer: Jon Klaczkiewicz / Fish Camp Runtime: 6:04 Presenters / Supporters: Visit Jackson Hole Description: During the filming for Guardians of the Snake, an official 2026 Fly Fishing Film Tour selection, the Fish Camp crew got out on the Snake with a trio of highly effective and passionate female guides. Girls Day Out follows Sloane Bergien, Maddie Dittbrender and Katie Finnegan through a golden autumn day on the water where they reflect on their journeys and experiences of being successful fly fishing guides in the Jackson Hole region. Edited as a behind-the-scenes companion to the feature film, this short cut features real laughter, real camaraderie, and a reminder of why this river, and the community built around it, is worth guarding. Chasing Hatches Director / Producer: Jon Klaczkiewicz / Fish Camp Runtime: 16:24 Presenters / Supporters: Henry’s Fork Foundation, The Salmonfly Project Description: On one of the West’s most iconic rivers, generations of angler observations collide with data-driven science as the Henry’s Fork Foundation and Salmonfly Project work to understand a changing river, and what it will take to protect it for the future. Aquatic insects are the foundation of river ecosystems, yet remarkably little long-term data exists about their populations. Without understanding what’s happening at the bottom of the food web, we risk missing the earliest warning signs of ecological change. Chasing Hatches is a film about the people racing to close that gap, legacy science, new technology, and the anglers, researchers, and rivers caught in between. If the hatches disappear, what does that mean for fly fishing? Jackson premiere! When Fish Return Director / Producer: Josh Duplechian / Trout Unlimited Runtime: 6:55 Presenters / Supporters: Trout Unlimited Description: For Terry Myers, the future of a free-flowing lower Snake River is about more than fish. It’s about the communities and way of life that depend on them. Told by the people who’ve experienced it firsthand, TU’s inspiring new short film highlights
