We meet the last Sunday of each month, from 1:00-3:00 pm. All textile artists and craftspeople age 16 to 100+ are invited. Each month, we offer a brief “spotlight on…” introduction and short discussion including, but not limited to: weaving, spinning, felting, crochet, knitting, basketry, tatting and lacework, fine needle work and embroidery, quilting, dyeing, rug hooking, etc… (you get the idea!) There is no fee to join our Textiles & Craft group, but please plan on contributing to our monthly Craft Cash Stash donation bucket. Each meeting, a non-profit organization or needful individual will be identified as the recipient of our collected funds. Come and explore multi-disciplinary craft techniques in an open, inclusive, non-judgmental environment. Bring your current project or find inspiration to start a new one.
