The Pittsboro Gallery of Arts is pleased to present the photography of Eric Saunders in a Featured Artist Show that will be on display from Tuesday, April 7th through Sunday, May 3rd, 2026. There will be a reception on Friday, April 17th, from 5-8pm. Eric Saunders’ work transports viewers in a way that allows us to view familiar scenes through a new lens, turning images of natural and urban subjects into abstract art. Saunders writes, “In general, my subject matter in photography is outdoor landscapes and architecture. I try to communicate the beauty of abstract art, and/or the beauty or intrigue of transient moments in nature and life.” For this show, Saunders will be displaying large photographs on canvas, along with smaller framed and unframed archival ink prints and cards. The Pittsboro Gallery of Arts is an artist-owned cooperative Fine Art and Craft Gallery located a few steps north of the Chatham County Courthouse circle.
