Gavrylyuk then takes center stage in Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1, a thrilling showcase of sweeping melody and virtuosic brilliance. The evening concludes with Schumann’s Symphony No. 3, “Rhenish,” a richly textured work inspired by the grandeur of the Rhineland.
