Guided Tour: Catch of the Day

Public guided tours are offered most weekends and holiday Mondays. All tours require admission with a suggested ticket price of $10 per person and begin at CBMM’s Welcome Center. Advanced reservations are recommended. Purchase a combo ticket for general admission and this tour here by selecting Aug. 3 as the date. Public tours and general admission are free for CBMM members, and members can make reservations here. In this Catch of the Day Guided Tour, learn what it means to “follow the water” in every season on the Chesapeake, learning about seasonal harvests such as crabs, oysters, and waterfowl. This tour requires a moderate amount of walking (approximately 1/4 mile) across uneven surfaces including gravel and boardwalk.  CBMM members become a part of the Chesapeake story and join our mission to preserve and explore the history, environment, and culture of the entire Chesapeake Bay region.
