Common Threads: A Block of the Month Quilting Pick-Me-Up

Come by the Kitty Black Perkins Maker Lab on the first Wednesday of each month, to grab a kit for our Block-of-the-Month Pick-Me-Up program. Kits are available as supplies last and will include pre-cut Americana themed fabric and instructions to make that month's featured block. Participate once or stop in every month to collect all 12 blocks. Pre-cut fabric kits are limited, but patrons are welcome to come by anytime to get the instructions on how to make the featured block with their own material. This Pick-Me-Up is most suitable for ages 12 and up, and for patrons who have basic experience with a sewing machine. Please note that quilting rulers and rotary cutters need to be used throughout this program for the different blocks, but will be available for use in the Maker Lab for patrons who do not have their own.
