The Bell Museum in collaboration with the UNC Morehead Planetarium and Science Center created an original planetarium production Mysteries of Your Brain. This animated film takes you on an immersive, animated adventure into the human brain, exploring how the brain works and what makes human brains so special. Your tour guides on this journey are a curious girl and her crow companion—together you’ll zoom along the paths of neurons, fly through brains and experience illusions on a grand scale. You’ll learn how your brain makes you and that, ultimately, we each have the power to change our brains. The work was made possible through generous support from the Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation and Boston Scientific. Doors close promptly at 11:00 a.m. If you need to leave for any reason, you are welcome to do so, but you will not be able to reenter the theater until the show is finished. Food and drinks are not allowed. Electronic devices should be set to silent. Target audience 6-adult. Loud sounds and bright, flashing lights may affect some audience members. Registration opens two weeks before the show and is required for this free show. The entire presentation runs 35-45 minutes. Note: Name and email address will be shared with the event organizer.
