Location: Horner Park, 2741 W Montrose Ave, Chicago, IL 60618 Date: Saturday, 10/3/2026 Time: 7:30 AM - 9:30 AM This trip is specifically tailored for beginner and novice-level birders! A great place for beginner birders, Horner Park is a city park with a natural area that stretches along the Chicago River. We should encounter a wide variety of migrating songbirds such as thrushes, warblers, kinglets, and woodpeckers. This will be a slow-paced, social bird outing. Feel free to enjoy the vendors and live music at the Horner Park Farmers Market at the end of the walk! Leaders: Chris Cochrane
