Leif Ove Andsnes | Chicago Symphony

Each of Beethoven’s final piano sonatas takes the instrument into uncharted new realms, so when Leif Ove Andsnes takes on all three, it’s truly an event. Together, the sonatas form a chronicle of the composer’s final years, when he was pushing the piano’s boundaries and his passion was at its deepest. Don’t miss this opportunity to hear these portraits of struggle, humor and transcendence.
